Geography and History – ESO 4 20th and 21st Centuries is aimed at regions of Spain that study history from the 20th Century onwards along with future challenges in the 4rd year of ESO. These include Madrid and Murcia.

The geography topics covered include the political structures and organisation of states, as well as international affairs. Within history, the book explains the key international political events since the beginning of the 20th Century, including the two World Wars, the Interwar period and the Cold War, as well as Spanish history over the same period. It also looks at the most important economic and social changes, including the changing role of women. The book finishes by exploring the most important challenges the world faces today, including those related to globalisation, inequality, discrimination and the environment.
